HILL: Myrna Lillian Hill. Myrna was born on June 2, 1940 in Elgin, MB and passed away peacefully on October 22, 2015 in Nanaimo, BC after her long and brave battle with Alzheimers. Born and raised in Elgin, MB, Myrna went to Brandon Business College and worked in Winnipeg for several years before moving to Calgary. Predeceased by her parents Hudson and Lillian Moore and brother Richard Moore, survived by her sister Joan Kelleher. Beloved wife of 48 years to James Garth Hill residing in Calgary, AB for 40 years of their marriage before moving to Nanaimo, BC in 2008 - present. Devoted and loving Mother to her 3 children; Amber (Trevor) Berry, Tawna (James) Hill and Ryan (Rebecca) Hill, she is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Ava Berry, Hudson Hill, Anna Hill, Sienna Berry and Olivia Faulkner. Myrna will be lovingly remembered with a “Celebration Of Life” at a future date to be announced. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the amazing and compassionate care providers who cared for Myrna at Malaspina Gardens in Nanaimo, BC. Sands ~ Nanaimo
